Golfing for the Ag Foundation
Chester/Delaware County Farm Bureau’s “Foursome” at the PA Friends of Ag Foundation’s Golf Fundraiser

The tournament raised $40,000 for the PA Friends of Agriculture Foundation during the 19th Annual Golf Classic at the Hershey Country Club, Hershey.
The tournament, co-sponsored by Nationwide Insurance, has raised more than $548,000 for the Foundation since its inception. Monies raised help fund projects such as the six Mobile Agriculture Education Science Labs and Ag in the Classroom workshops.
"The golf tournament supports the Foundation in its efforts to educate children about farming and our food supply, while also helping to train teachers about agriculture and encouraging them to include accurate information about food and farming into their classroom curriculum," said PFB President Carl T. Shaffer, who also serves as Chairman of the Foundation.
